For all those commenting and worrying that the cats are being tortured with hairspray and bad Showcatmomagers, lol I just wanted to say this. dustinfisher29 I’ve got two Persians , one an ex show cat who was retired as soon as I got her and both mine live a life of lazy luxury being spoilt rotten. What I will say as a Persian owner in defence of those in this film though is that if my Persians hear the word BRUSH, they will knock anything and everyone in their path over to get to that brush first. Persians are bred to be quite pampered and I’ve never seen one that didn’t love being combed washed and brushed. Which is the opposite of most cats. I assure you all the cats in the film are without a doubt very loved animals 😻💕
I don't say they are not cared for or unloved. Just the fact that they are locked up in small cages, in the hundreds handled by strangers, photographed with flashlights is wrong to me.

win bragging rights and abuse your Cats to do it, locking them in a teeny tiny cage same for the dog shows, it's abuse and the RSPCA should be involved. or whatever your country calls it. Shame on Netflix for showing it, except at least it lets the animal rights people know about what's going on. ps you can see the cats HATE IT.
TBH those cats "are pros". They enjoy the show and are used to that lifestyle. Not saying is the best for a normal cat life, but I don't doubt their owners love them a lot. The problem are those who try to make a bussiness out of it who really don't care about the cat. I only fear selective breeding can hurt the cats as dogs have been hurt. Still, I'm not a fan of deforming animals for aesthetics though..(specialy when they bring up health problems!)
Cats sleep most of the day. How much space do you think they need to sleep? They don't mind it at all. There is actually more one on one with the owner and cat than if they were at home.
